Seismic effect anslysis of low-frequency acceleration pulse imposed on the half-through arch bridge
By the ANSYS software,a CFST half-through arch bridge finite element model is established, and the nonlinear seismic effects about the structure are discussed. The research reveals that the excellence frequency of the input ground motion is not the only key factor to stimulate a larger earthquake response.More noteworthy phenomenon is that the lowfrequency acceleration pulse of the near-fault ground motions are enriched with lowfrequency pulse movement energy, and the seismic action is relatively stronger. It is found that the out-of-plane bending moment reaction of the main-span is relative complex, and the location of the connection site between the ribbed-arch and the trussed-arch is a dangerous section.
