Identification of Abnormal Change of Isolated Structure Based on Long-term Monitoring Data

  This paper presents identification of abnormal change of isolated buildings based on monitored data from real isolated structures.Long-term structural health monitoring system was designed and installed in a group of teaching and hospital buildings to test the structural parameters of isolated buildings in service.This system can record the structural response under the main environmental factors such as temperature,and different loads,such as earthquakes and human induced loading.Based on the collected data of the structural acceleration response,the improved Morlet wavelet modal parameter identification method is used to analyze and process the data in real time,identify structural modal parameters under different conditions,analysis of environmental factors and human activities on the impact of the law.Besides the important events of several earthquakes in the nearby region,the daily and seasonal fluctuation of temperature,daily fluctuation of human loading have been identified fairly well,reflecting the ability of long-term structural health monitoring system for ensuring the safety of isolation system.
