Impact Characteristics Computation for Simply-Supported Viscoelastically-Connected Double-Beam under Moving Harmonic Loads

  The dynamic behavior,especially the impact effects,of the bridge-track system under moving loads is a continuous interest.In this study,the bridge-track system is modeled as a doublebeam system connected using elastic springs and viscous dampers and the vehicle loads is modeled as moving harmonic loads.Numerical studies are conducted to investigate the impact characteristics of the supporting bridge under different moving speed and harmonic oscillation frequencies.The investigation will benefit the operational safety check of the related engineering system.
