Stereovision measurement of 3D displacement of a fivestorey RC frame model in a shaking table test
To measure 3D displacements of structures,a 3D displacement measurement method based on stereovision is proposed in this paper.A stereovision 3D displacement measurement software is compiled based on the proposed algorithms.A shaking table test of a five-story RC frame model is conducted in the lab.The 3D displacement time histories of the measured points on the model are acquired simultaneously.The test results indicate that the in-plane displacement time-histories measured by the proposed stereovision method agree well with those obtained by LVDT.This verifies that the proposed stereovision approach is reliable and useful for measuring the 3D displacement of multiple points on structural models.
