Long-term SHM data and meta-data management using informational modeling and virtual reality environments

　　There are five core activities that are crucial to the success of a SHM project(see Figure 1)1-2.This work focuses on the accessibility and visualization of SHM data and meta-data over time such that it can be utilized by interested parties to make informed decisions throughout the lifetime of the structure.Figure 1 depicts the components of SHM process and the scope of this project within SHM data management.
