Aerodynamic Characteristics of the High-speed Train under Wind-Train-Bridge System

  To the running rail vehicles subject to the railway bridge,it is of great importance to ensure the comfort and stability of the rolling stocks under wind loads.The geometry configuration characteristics of bridge structure might lead to the variability of aerodynamic parameters against different locations where trains run over the bridge.To investigate the effect of the time-varying aerodynamic coefficients on the dynamic responses of the high-speed train,a numerical model,validated by the wind tunnel test results,tended to investigate the internode effect of the truss bridge on the fluctuation force of the aerodynamic forces of the train.The results show that a periodical fluctuation force is introduced by the truss bridge when the train runs inside the truss bridge.As the train speed increases,the peak and valley of the fluctuating force seem to occur in the specific positions for the side force,while they will be changed by the train speed for the lift force.It means there is a hysteresis of the fluctuating force for the lift force with the change of the train speed.
