Stochastic analysis for train/track/bridge system with the randomness of bridge parameters and track irregularities

  With consideration of the joint random field of the bridge parameters and track irregularities,a computational model devoted to conduct the stochastic analysis of train/track/bridge coupled system in this random field is developed.In the numerical model,the trains,ballasted track,bridge and the nonlinear interactions among them are meticulously established; and the variability of track irregularity is characterized in both the temporal and spatial domains by an irregularity probabilistic model; and then the bridge parameters are simulated with probability; finally,all of these random factors is effectively and jointly considered in the dynamic equations of motion of the train/track/bridge coupled system.By comparing the robust Monte-Carlo simulation method,the high efficiency and accuracy of this stochastic model are validated.Illustrative examples show that on account of bridge random parameters,the resonance speed exhibits a certain distribution characteristics; and correspondingly,dynamic coefficient varies over a large range; the dynamic response of train/track/bridge system will be greatly affected by resonance phenomenon.
