Wind tunnel measurement on side force coefficient of trains passing each other on truss bridge
To investigate the mutation mechanism of the aerodynamic coefficient of train passing on truss bridge under cross wind,based on the self-developed wind tunnel test system about moving vehicle model,the aerodynamic side force of the vehicle on the bridge was tested and analysed.A 1:30 three-vehicle scale model test focusing on the CRH3 was carried out.The results show that: during the process of two trains passing each other,the side force coefficient of vehicle running on leeward side of the deck have obvious trend of mutation,while that of vehicle running on windward side vary smoothly.The mutation region is mainly affected by speed of wind induced by passing trains and will be enlarged with the increase of vehicle speed,while it can hardly be influenced by cross wind velocity.The rail position of the running train in the transverse direction has impact on the side force coefficient.
