Study on monitoring method of long-span bridge deformation based on three-dimensional laser scanning

  The three-dimensional laser scanning technology has been applied to the 3D reconstruction of structures in its development,and three-dimensional point cloud has become an important basic data of structural deformation monitoring.Measuring the three dimensions of a target surface,the ground-based three-dimensional laser scanning system can display the spatial form of a structural surface and record the coordinate information of the point location in the form of array point cloud.It overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional single point measurement method,such as limited number of sampling points and small coverage area,and quickly measures the whole of the observed object with high precision.In this paper,the ground three-dimensional laser scanning technique is applied to overall deformation monitoring of long-span bridges.Our research target is a long-span steel truss arch bridge with the main span of 432m,whose high-temperature deformation is monitored by using the three-dimensional laser scanning technique.Under the condition of daily temperature difference of 9 oC,the three dimensions of the bridge is scanned by laser twice,and the collected data is processed.A new deformation measurement method for bridge NURBS surface based on 3D point cloud data is proposed,and the overall deformation measurement result of the bridge is obtained.According to the data comparison results of the precision level and the total station,the deformation measurement values obtained by the three-dimensional laser scanning system and the data processing method proposed in this paper have good accuracy and reliability.This method can obtain point-line-plane overall deformation monitoring results of the bridge.Compared with the traditional single point deformation monitoring,our method has an extra demonstration of linear deformation and overall deformation characteristics,and has good prospect in engineering application.
