Dynamic response of long-span railway cable-stayed bridge to running train

  The design of railway bridges is control by the stiffness,the deflection in middle span is an important index to evaluate the stiffness of the railway bridge.However,there is no clearly provision to the deflection in middle span of the long-span railway cable-stayed bridge in code for rating existing railway bridges.This paper studied one-year monitoring data of one Railcum-Road Bridge.Running trains is the main factor cause deflection of main beam,wavelet analysis can separate deflection caused by temperature action,train action and traffic loadings,and the deflection in middle span caused by running trains was researched through statistical analysis.The baseline of deformation during one year can provide important reference for safety warning.Acceleration in middle span of long-span bridge under running trains was analysis in detail,the interaction characteristics was make known between train and bridge,The acceleration amplitude induced by train of middle span is large when train speed achieve 175km/h,the trains theoretical strong vibration frequency of 1.9Hz is similar to one order frequency of the bridge.The results showed that analysis result provides a reference for formulate the ordinary value of deflection and acceleration amplitude of long-span bridge given by code for rating existing railway bridges and the safety capability evaluation for this kind of long-span railway bridges.
