Structural Health Monitoring of High-Speed Railway Bridges in China:A State-of-the-Art Review
China high-speed railway network is improving day by day after a decade constructing, and bridges play a vital role in the high-speed railway lines.High-speed railway bridges usually suffer from the combined effects of complicated loads such as the temperature field, wind load and impact force of train etc.The service condition of high-speed railway bridges has a big influence on the security, comfort and ride quality of trains. To monitor its service condition in real-time,the structural health monitoring(SHM)technology has been commonly used in some long-span high-speed railway bridges in China, and a large number of data have been collected. In this article, the main research fields about the SHM of high-speed railway bridges in China have been reviewed from these three themes: simulating the complex environmental effects of the high-speed railway bridges such as the temperature field and the wind field etc.,evaluating the response of high-speed railway bridges under the complicated load and analyzing the performance of high-speed railway bridges according to these data from SHM.In addition, the challenges and future trends in the SHM of high-speed railway bridges are put forward in this paper.
