Preparation,Characterization,and Application of NTC NiMn2O4-LaMn1-xTixMnO3(0≤x≤0.7)composite ceramics
The NTC thermistor ceramics NiMn2O4-LaMn1-xTixMnO3(0≤x≤0.7)were prepared by classic solid-state method.The effect of Ti doping and the two phases ratio on the composite properties were studied.The electrical resistivity ρ25°C of the composite ceramics increased significantly with Ti content increasing and decreased with the content of perovskite phase LaMn1-xTixMnO3 increasing.The ρ25°C values and B25/50 values varied in wide range.The two parameters can be adjusted to the desired values,which made this composite system be a potential candidate for designing NTC thermistor for variety applications.The NTC composite thermistors had high stability.The composites exhibited quick response,high precision and no need of temperature compensation when applied to monitor the temperature of the concrete hydration process which made it a superior candidate in temperature control and crack prevention of mass concrete.
