Assessment Method of Ameliorating Effect of Greenery on Urban Pollution

  Air pollution is an important factor impacting the quality of urban life.Greening could absorb, block and shield urban pollutants, but its quantitative effect remains to be further studied.After the study method and tools for the relationship between green plants and pollutants were analyzed, it was found that the wind tunnel experiment is more accurate and it can provide a powerful tool to determine wind dynamics parameters and the R&D of physical model of green plants.Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) model is convenient to study the impact of green plant parameters and formation on the distribution of pollutants.Geographic Information System (GIS) can quickly and easily analyze the function of greening based on the city scale, thereby reducing the workload of physical model development and boundary condition setting.These three methods have their own advantages and disadvantages, so they can be used independently or comprehensively according to the study conditions and specific scenarios to provide a useful tool for solving the problem of urban pollutant accumulation and creating a good urban living environment.
