Study on Adaptation Strategies of Microclimate in Waterfront Environment in Mountainous Cities

  In recent years, the public attention to the quality of human settlements and the pursuit of a pleasant climate has become an important topic in the planning and design industry.Scenic landscapes directly influence urban microclimate and play a key role in the local climatic condition improvement.This paper aims to discuss the evaluation index of the landscape microclimate, via selecting a typical mountainous waterfront city in Sangzhi County, Hunan Province as the research object.Furthermore, this paper targets the investigation on the topography, landscape composition, underlying surface form and roofing materials of mountainous cities as four separate categories that affect the microclimate of the waterfront environment in mountainous cities.Based on that, the microclimate adaptability model is built based on GIS technology, and then the approach of creating landscape architecture in the microclimate adaptability of waterfront environment in mountainous cities is analyzed.The purpose of this study is to explore the landscape design, to create a more optimized and more suitable ways and urban microclimate, means of so as to restore the local ecology of the city and creat a waterfront livable environment.
