Research on situation of Yalong River hydropower utilization by UHV transmission
The Yalong River has rich hydropower resources, there are twenty-two hydropower stations planed on its main stream.The hydropower resources of its downstream has been fully developed.The hydropower of Jinping first stage hydropower station(JinXi), Jinping second stage hydropower station(Jindong), Guandi hydropower station is transmitted to East China through JinSu UHV.The power generated by Ertan hydropower station and Ruoshui hydropower station is utilized in Sichuan and Chongqing.In the future, when the hydropower resources of midstream is fully developed, it will face some problems, for example, the hydropower will be transferred to different direction, utilized in different region,and operated by different institutions.Therefore, in this paper we researched on the situation and capatcity of power transmission, relevant planning, operation situation of the power system, power demand of the accepting regions in order to guide the operations of hydropower stations and dispatching schemes.
