Preparation of low-fouling reverse osmosis membrance on A12O3 carrier and its applied exploration research of desalination

  The dense and highly orgnized zeolite membranes whose thickness confined at the nanoscale can be synthesized based on electroless plating surface modification on α-Al2O3 substrates, and layer-by-layer self-assemble technology by polyelectrolytes with opposite charges.The controllable and low-cost preparation of zeolite membranes results in a striking decrease of reverse osmosis membranes cost required, which is really significant for the realization of the mass production of seawater reverse osmosis desalination.The results, such as the interaction between different ion and zeolite pores or intercrystalline crack, the influences of membrane structure, surface chemical property, transmembrane pressure and temperature on the mechanism of desalination process, are conducive to provide theoretical basis and references for the development of the reverse osmosis membranes performance.
