Technical study on the slope excavation procedure adjustment of Souapiti dam
Top-bottom excavation procedure is the most common method for dam slope excavation, which is applicable to most cases.In terms of slop excavation of the Souapiti hydropower station project of Guinea, the challenge caused by tight schedule for excavation in the early stage of the Project was overcome by studying the topographic conditions of slope and the excavation design features of foundation surface and adopting the bottom-top excavation procedure with technical and safety measures in place.The bottom-top excavation method mentioned above is introduced for reference to other similar projects.
