Power loop study applied to AC excitation system for large pumped storage variable speed units
Applied to ac excitation system for large pumped storage variable speed units, the topological structure of the main loop is analyzed in detail.In the end, three-level NPC converters are selected and the vector control strategy is studied in detail.A 1.5MW variable speed unit simulation model with NPC three-level topology is built in MATLAB/Simulink.The correctness of the topology and vector control strategy is verified by the simulation results.The power unit design of the ac excitation system of the 200MW large variable speed pumping unit is of great significance.
