Spike Noise Reduction Method of Electrical Source Time-domain Ground-airborne Electromagnetic Data Based on Stationary Wavelet Transform
To reduce the spike noise of the electrical source time-domain ground-airborne electromagnetic system, a denoising algorithm based on the stationary wavelet transform is proposed.Firstly, we decompose the data into detailed coefficients and approximated coefficients.Then we calculate the logarithmic slope and the threshold to identify the noise in the detailed coefficients and process the detailed coefficients to reduce the noise.Finally, the undisturbed data are restored by inverse stationary wavelet transform.The algorithm is verified using synthenic data and is applied in the real data collected at Qinshui coal mine in Shanxi, China.The results confirm that the spike noise can be effectively removed from the electrical source time-domain ground-airborne electromagnetic by using the proposed method.The interpretation result of the de-noised data can accurately reflect the underground information and remove the false anomaly.
