Application of Parallel Electrical Method to Rapid Detection of Irrigation District Leakage

  Unclear type, distribution, location, buried depth, and connected condition of canal bank leakage hidden trouble are the key problem affecting the risk management effectiveness.For the long route, short construction period and disease diversification of canal bank, the new train of thought of the technology of parallel electrical method was introduced for canal bank detection.Besides, the technical advantages and electrical characteristics of the typical hazards of parallel electrical method were briefly introduced.The layout mode of the field test system was given and the factors affecting the detection results were discussed.By combining with the application example of the levee leakage detection of 8K+300-8K+500 section in Laoshikan canal bank area,abundant geo-electric information could be obtained within 96s of acquisition time through parallel electrical method.It was found that the low resistivity anomaly area distribution and downstream leakage point location were basically identical.Relatively high resistance anomaly reflected the general location of concealed tomb within the river way, showing the technology could effectively reveal the several leakage causes of river way.The research provided scientific basis for the next step of aligning treatment design, and had strong reference to similar projects.
