Application of Transient Electromagnetic Method to Detect Buried Low Resistivity Anomaly in Shallow Sea

  We here show an experiment of the transient electromagnetic (TEM) method to locate the buried low resistivity anomaly in the shallow sea.In the preliminary stage, the TEM system equiped with a drag-and-drop wireframe of trasmitter and receiver is used for underwater data collection.After data processing, the buried low-resistivity anomalous body is clearly shown in apparent resistivity pseudosections.The result demonstrates the potential usage of TEM method in shallow sea.
