Inheritance and Protection of Handicraft:The Role, Importance and Necessity of Handicrafts in Local Empowerment, Entrepreneurship and Attraction of Tourists
Handicrafts show originality and culture of any nation.Therefore,it is important to know any nations culture.The purpose of the present research is to deal with handicrafts and improve their role in local empowerment, entrepreneurship and attraction of tourists for sustainable development.Reproduction of handicrafts revitalizes traditional native arts and makes artistic creation dynamic among native artists using native resources.This is achievable using minimum facilities and time.Organizing local marketplace for revitalizing the arts being forgotten prevents from immigration into big cities and local and native empowerment is provided that increases economic and social growth.Since handicrafts are a part of tourism, they can play an important role in tourist attraction, so that a foreign culture is introduced to tourists and they interact with this culture.Hence,handicrafts have a strong potential to attract tourists and their result is industrial development, job creation and promotion of social values of the society.
