Numerical Simulation Study on the Influence of the Partition Wall on the Tunnel Fire at Subway Based on the FDS
This paper takes the Chongqing subway line 3s Yayuan Station—the ground three island side platform type subway stations tunnel as the research target, uses the fire fluid motion computation hydrodynamics software FDS which is created by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (for short NIST) construction fire research lab to establish the tunnels geometry model of the subway station.Through the wind speed, the carbon monoxide concentration, the temperature, the visibility these four target parameters in the escaping way are used to determine whetherthe power of the tunnel fans, a partition wall and a connected aisle can highly affect the exhausting of smoke. And through the optimization and improvement of the ventilation scheme of tunnel smoke control mode, we can analysis and find the optimal mode. The research results have important reference value for the fire safety ventilation mode setting of the metro tunnel and the subway fire emergency plan formulating of the actual subway operation.
