Study on Turbulence Model and Numerical Formats in the Resistance Calculations of Archaeological Vessel
In order to study the suitability of different turbulent models for ship hydrodynamic performance forecasting, by using the SA, K-Omega, SST, EASM, DES turbulent models to calculate archaeological ship resistance, in the process of numerical methods for solving the RANS equation.The calculated and experimental results were compared.By comparing the predicted results of five kinds of turbulence models with the experimental value, we find that the SA,K-Omega models have obvious defects to forecast resistance properties, and the SST model will improve the calculation error which can be controlled in the range of engineering applications inside, it can well be applied to calculate the resistance of the ship model.
