A simple method to grow up ZnO nanorods

　　Because of the widely used in gas sensor and light emitting diodes,zinc oxide nano structures have attract more attention.In our article,The ZnO nanorods were prepared via a simple chemical vapor deposition method on sapphire substrate.The morphology of the nanorods were characterized by SEM which told that the zinc oxide nanorods were deposited with nonuniform but have a great hexagonal structure and the XRD pattern emerged a strong ZnO(002)peak that reveals that the zinc oxide nanorods were grow up along the c-axis,meanwhile the 002 peak is shift to the higher 2θ degree which may have relation with the defect.
