Experimental study on Al2O3-MgO Unfired Compact Brick for Ladle
Using corundum,spinel,alumina micro powder and magnesia as the main raw materials and magnesia gel as binder,the properties of Al2O3-MgO compact ladle brick made from unburned machine pressure technology were studied and compared with the existing ladle prefabricated brick.The results show that the strength,the apparent porosity,the thermal shock resistance,the erosion resistance and the thermal expansion of the unfired compact brick are very superior.It can be predicted that the application effect on the ladle will be better,and it conforms to the concept of energy saving,environmental protection and high efficiency,and it is one of the trend of the development of the technology of carbon-free refractory for ladle.
