Study on the Behavior Model and Performance of Fake Particles in Recycling of Spent Refractory Materials

  The main raw materials are alumina and slide gate recycled materials.The alumina carbon material was made by using the technology of ball granulation and hydrostatic pressing.The influence of the amount of recycled material on the properties of aluminum carbon materials was studied by scanning electron microscope and mechanical analysis.The results indicate that: the material was considered to be an ideal structural statistical homogeneous body formed from aggregate and matrix.When the fake particles of recycled materials were added to the material,the local heterogeneity of material microstructure was caused by the decrease of local aggregate and the increase of matrix.It was called matrix aggregation filling defect model.The cross-bending strength of the material decreased only with the increase of porosity.Matrix aggregates replaced the filling defect of raw material particles in the material.The local porosity of the microstructure was increased,so the cross-bending strength of the material was decreased.With the increase of the amount of recycled materials,the porosity of the materials increased,the bulk density decreased,the cross-bending strength decreased,the thermal shock resistance increased,and the erosion-resistance became worse because of the filling defect of matrix aggregates.
