Research on Slag Buildup and Overweight on Ladle Wall
Generally,there is mainly slag buildup on lining under slag line,no on lining of slag line.The more using numbers of ladle are,and the worse hot condition of ladle is,the more overweight ladles are.Slag buildup layer has high Al2O3 content,and which are mostly high melting point phase.It is mechanism of slag buildup that slag composition is at early extracting area of CA6,CA2 or MA when condensation,slag condensation and extracting time after time,form slag buildup layer with high Al2O3 content.More Al-kill steel,slow ladle turnover,long time for steel in ladle,and more ladle small repairing,are main reason of slag buildup and overweight.It is main measures of reducing slag buildup to quicken ladle turnover,control using numbers of ladle,reduce small repair times,decrease convertor slag coming out,add lime into ladle when steel tapping.
