Application of Modified PanSteel Ferrovanadium Slag in Refractory Materials

摘要：

　　After modification treatment,the content of main components in PanSteel ferrovanadium Slag,such as Al2O3,MgO and CaO respectively are 70~80%,7~13%and 6~10%.The refractoriness is over 1790℃.The density is greater than or equal to 3.05g/cm3.The average thermal expansion coefficient is 8.2~9.0×10-6·K-1(1450℃).Besides,the main crystal phase are MA,CA2.The slag can be used as a special refractory raw material,which can improve the refractory materials properties of resistance to slag corrosion,thermal shock stability and high temperature strength.The slag was used in PanSteel ladle bricks,semi-steel tank(hot metal ladle)bricks,and baking-free iron runner with good effect.
