Summary of Structure,Properties,Preparation Technology and Application of Magnesia-alumina Spinel

摘要：

　　Magnesia-alumina spinel has excellent properties such as high melting point,small thermal expansion coefficient,low thermal conductivity,good thermal shock stability and strong slag resistance.And its refractory products are widely used in cement,glass,metallurgy and other industries.In this paper,the crystal structure,physical and chemical properties of magnesia-alumina spinel were introduced.The massive preparation of magnesia-alumina spinel for refractories mainly included sintering and electrofusion methods,and the preparation adopted different raw materials according to different preparation processes.In the respect of application,the composition and performance should be adjusted according to different application fields.The application field of spinel hollow spheres needs to be further developed.
