Pore Structure Characterization of Sintered Ti-Ti5Si3 Composite Gradient Porous Materials
A novel porous filter material was fabricated by the element reactive synthesis and confined sintering methods.Different particle distributions of Ti powders and quartz tube with high purity(SiO2≥99.5%)were used as the raw materials.The microstructure of membrane-substrates were observed by SEM,and the phase compositions of Ti-Ti5Si3 was tested by X-ray diffraction(XRD).The synthesized Ti-Ti5Si3 composite gradient porous materials presents a microstructure of both large substrate pores and small membrane pores.
