Comparative Study on the High Temperature Sulfur Corrosion Resistance of Fe-Al and Ni-Al Intermetallic Compound Porous Materials
With the increasing strict environmental protection requirements,in the petrochemical,coal chemical and other industries,the demand for the filtering materials applied to high temperature corrosion of dust atmosphere gradually increased.In order to study the corrosion resistance of metal filter materials in high temperature sulfur-containing corrosion atmosphere,especially the sulfur corrosion resistance,four intermetallic porous materials were fabricated by powder metallurgy process,including Fe-Al-intermetallic compounds and three different components of nickel-aluminum intermetallic compounds.Through the simulation of the actual conditions of coal chemical filtration,sulfur corrosion test is carried out at 729 ℃.The experimental results show that the high-temperature sulfur corrosion resistance of Fe-Al intermetallic porous materials is superior to the other three Ni-Al-intermetallic porous materials in this working condition.
