Microstructure and Mechanical Property of TiCx/Cu Composites Fabricated by Self-infiltration
TiCx/Cu Interpenetrating Phase Composites with different skeleton chemical composition and different skeleton relative density were fabricated by powder metallurgy method.Microstructures and mechanical properties of TiCx/Cu Composites were investigated.The phase constitution and microstructures were studied by XRD and SEM.With the increase of Titanium element content in skeleton,the bending strength and fracture toughness of TiCx/Cu Composites with same skeleton relative density are both increased.The bending strength and fracture toughness of TiCx/Cu composite with 75%skeleton relative density attain 1269MPa and 18.0 MPa·m1/2 respectively.
