An Auxiliary Blind Guide System based on Multisensor Data Fusion
With the development of science and technology, blind guide system steps into the daily life of the blind instead of inefficient auxiliary tools including crutch. At present, most of blind guide systems on sale are based on infrared or ultrasonic sensors. They will timely inform the blind of the distance between the blind and the obstacle on the road within a certain range. However, the type of road cannot be identified by only using them.Other blind guide systems based on image processing technology are increasingly popular. These system can identify the types of roads such as ramps, stairs and turns. But its difficult to provide the information about the spatial distance for the blind because of the road type changes. In recent years, with the development of IOT,more data collected by different sensors are sent to the application layer of IOT for analysis and processing.Eventually, the useful data can be fed back to people. In sum, this paper proposes a new method of positioning based on multi-sensor data fusion, and constructs a set of auxiliary blind guide system. This system can effectively prompt the blind that the road with significant height changes arises a few meters away. And then, the height changes of the road will be calculated by this system and meanwhile sent to the blind.
