A New Magnetic Model for Distinguishing Between UXO and Non-UXO
The traditional magnetic measurement method is based on the magnetic dipole model that is a point model, and the shape information of the target cannot be determined, resulting in high false alarm rate and low detection efficiency. In this paper,a magnetic multi-order pole expansion model is proposed, target recognition is based on the relationship between the magnetic quadrupole field and the symmetry of the target. In addition, the Euler deconvolution method can be used to determine the decay rate of the magnetic poles of each order and realize the separation of magnetic anomalies of different polar poles from the total magnetic field.A numerical simulation experiment based on the Ansoft Maxwell software verifies that the algorithm can effectively distinguish different targets and can be applied to the distinction between UXO and non-UXO.
