A review of ventilated multiple-layer building fa(c)ade elements for saving energy loads and providing electrical energy and visual comfort

  Being a sustainable and energy efficient building components,multiple-layer fa(c)ades are in demand to improve indoor comfort level while eliminating excessive energy consumption.An exhaustive review of scientific studies carried out recently on multiple-glazed skins building elements whether they are double-akin fa(c)ades or airflow windows(as they function similarly)was presented here.The paper shed the light on the fa(c)ade unit that generate power,conserve cooling and heating loads,and allow daylight into the inside space.It aims to be as a reference data that facilitate looking at the up-to-date studies to the research community in their prospective studies,and provide them with the main Simulation approaches of the unit.
