Progress on Dewatering and Drying Technology of Sludge
With the increase of the number of municipal sewage plant,the production of surplus sludge is increasing day by day,the main problem to realize the reduction of surplus sludge,harmless and resource treatment is to reduce the water content of sludge.This paper expounds that the residual sludge mainly originates from flocculation sedimentation of primary sedimentation tank and sedimentation of activated sludge method in secondary settling tank,the influence factors of sludges particle size distribution,pH value,extracellular polymer and zeta potential on the dewatering performance of sludge,the main sludge dehydration pretreatment such as ultrasonic,microwave and other physical conditioning,polyacrylamide,The chemical modulation and microbial modulation of Fenton reagent are introduced,such as traditional mechanical dehydration,electro-osmotic process,carbonization treatment and other sludge dewatering and drying technology.
