Study on Migration Characteristics of Heavy Metals in Leaching Tailings
In this study, dynamic leaching experiments were used to simulate precipitation and to study the characteristics of leaching of heavy metals in a tailings of Lujiang River. The changes of pH,conductivity, and heavy metal content of the leachate of the tailings were analyzed. The results showed that the pH value of the tailings leachate was relatively high during 1 to 3 weeks, and then it tended to be stable. In the first week, the conductivity of tailings leachate decreased significantly, and then became stable. In the tailings, elements Cr,Cu,Zn,Cd,Ni,and Pb can all be dissolved in large quantities.Tailings dissolve the most at the beginning of leaching. And Cd and Pb also have secondary dissolution phenomena. The dissolved state of heavy metals in tailings after leaching has decreased. The residual states of Cu,Zn,Ni,Cr,and Pb all increased, while the Cd residue state decreased.
