Influence of Calcination Time on Photocatalytic Performance of BiVO4 Synthesised by Sol-gel Method
The visible-light-driven BiVO4 photocatalysts had been synthesized by the ethylene glycol sol-gel method.The effect of calcination time on photocatalytic properties and microstructure of the BiVO4 was studied.The photocatalytic activity of the BiVO4 were investigated by photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue under simulated natural light irradiation.The results show that all the sample are monoclinic.The photocatalytic activity of the sample calcinated after 3 h is highest.The degradation rate of methylene blue for 150 min is 69.58%.
