Nonlinear analysis of RPC box beam with unbonded prestressed CFRP tendons
Carbon Fiber Reinforced Ploymers(CFRP)and Reactive Powder Concrete(RPC)have been successfully applied in civil engineering.When these two kinds of new high performance materials are combined with the application of unbonded prestress technology,it becomes a high efficient and durable prestressed concrete structure.This paper mainly presents nonlinear analysis of RPC box beam with unbonded prestressed CFRP tendons.Based on reasonable assumptions,the calculation equation of stress increments of unbonded CFRP tendons has been derived.According to this equation,the nonlinear numerical program was drawn up.Then the program calculats the whole process bending moment,curvature and the load deflection,and the calculated results are compared with some experimental results to verify their accuracy.Through this program,three important structural parameters of this box beam are analyzed to find the sensitive parameters which apparently influence the flexural capacity and ultimate deflection.
