THEORETICAL ANALYSIS OF THE TENSILE STRENGTH OF BFRP PLATES AT ELEVATED TEMPERATURES

  was investigated.When two or more materials are combined together to form a composite,the properties of the composite are governed not only by the properties of individual components but also by the interface between them.In a wide temperature range,the relationship between the tensile strength and the interlaminar shear strength(ILSS)shows a good linearity.A model was used to describe the change of BFRP tensile strength at elevated temperatures,and Weibull two parameters model and the ILSS were used in this model.Simultaneous fiber-failure(SFF)model and Global load sharing model(GLS)model were used for comparison.
