AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF PULTRUDED FRP PLATE STRUCTURE
New types of pultruded FRP plate structure and their behavior under bending is presented.According to the different using characteristics,four connection types were tested and confronted.Connecting types contain two simply supported types and two overhang types.Pultruded FRP plate was connected to concrete structure by chemical bolts and steel connector.In order to study the durability of this structure,aging tests were performed based on service condition for 42 days.And wetting-drying cycles and ultraviolet ray were taken into consideration.In conclusion,failure modes were local damage caused by stress concentration,which occurred in load point and joint.After the aging test,the general performance of structure declined to a certain degree.Local buckling and longitudinal crack appeared during the loading procedure.
