MECHANICAL ANALYSIS AND EXPERIMENT STUDY OF A BOND ANCHORAGE SYSTEM FOR PULTRUDED CFRP PLATE

  A new wedge-bond anchor is designed and carried out the mechanical analysis.The anchoring system includes the steel plate,filled epoxy,release agent and CFRP plate.Two epoxies with different toughness are chosen as the filled material.Tensile tests of anchoring system are conducted to check the anchor efficiency.The mechanical analysis obtains the maximum anchorage bearing capacity(95.44kN)based on the interface bond-slip criterion.The results of tensile tests of anchorage system show the anchor succeeds to make the CFRP plate fracture and there is no slip in the anchor.The maximum anchoring force is 79.56kN provided by two sets of 240 anchors at the both end of CFRP plate.The anchorage stress level is 109.7%compared to the control tensile strength of CFRP plate from aluminum plate anchor.Furthermore,the rationality of stress distribution and transfer of anchorage system is also analyzed.
