Behavior of REEs in granitic profiles in NE and SE Tibet plateau,China
As one of the most applied tracer, behavior of REEs can record geology and geochemistry process. In this paper, two granitic regolith profiles from different climate zones in east Tibet plateau were studied. The concentration and distribution pattern reveals that 1)the ?REEs ranges from 119.65 to 275.33mg/kg in profile ND and 5.11 to 474.55 mg/kg in profile GTC.205.79 mg/kg and 161 mg/kg on average for ND and GTC,respectively. The ?REEs enriched in accumulation horizon and semiregolith; 2)Influenced by climate, the fractionation of LREEs and HREEs in profile ND and GTC varied during weahtering process. The ratio of LREEs/HREEs in pedosphere is little higher than semiregolith in tropical profile GTC; 3)Negative anomaly of Eu in both profiles is the result of bedrock weathering.Positive anomaly of Ce is observed in all layers in profile ND,and only in upper 100 cm in profile GTC.This result indicates that weathering redox condition along regolit profile in different climate veries considerably.4)Normalized by chondrite,LREEs accumulate much more than HREE,the distribution curves of REEs are right-lean and V-type Eu anomaly in both profiles.
