Fatigue Performance of RC Beams Strengthened with CFRP under Variable Amplitude Overloads
Introduction In the past two decades,external bonding of carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP)composites is widely used for strengthening reinforced concrete(RC)structures of highway bridges 1.Researchers have demonstrated that external bonding of CFRP can obviously improve the fatigue performance of RC structures 2.However,although the super measures have been taken to limit overload from truck,the overload phenomenon is still widespread for highway transportation in China.
