The Application of Multiple Heuristic Teaching Methods in College English Intensive Reading Course
This paper gives a new interpretation of the meaning of“heuristic teachingin English language teaching,constructs a pluralistic“heuristicteaching concept framework from three aspects:“initial inspirationof background knowledge,theoretical application of cognitive linguistics,and lexical root learning and synonym discrimination,analyzing how to achieve the purpose and significance of“inspirationthrough the teaching of vocabulary,category,metaphor,construction and background knowledge,and finally provides a reference for the teaching practice of College English Intensive Reading course.
