AIR BUOYANCY CORRECTION FOR GAS MASS IN PRESSURE VESSELS
When a liquid flow standard facility is used to calibrate flow mass of Coriolis mass meter,air buoyancy correction is made for mass indication of the weighing instrument.When flow is high-pressure gas,the weighing vessels are gas cylinders in the gas flow standard facility.The stresses and strains in the wall of cylinder due to the internal pressure from the compressed gas are determined,so the volumetric expansion of the cylinder can be obtained.According to the actual data,air buoyancy correction for gas mass can be disregarded.
