STUDY ON THE MASS CONCENTRATION MONITORING OF FINE PARTICULATE MATTERS(PM2.5)BASED ON LIGHT SCATTERING METHOD AND WEIGHTING METHOD
The traceability of PM2.5 mass concentration by using the light scattering method and weighting method is studied. The monodisperse aerosol particles of μm size are generated, and the number of the light pulse scattered by PM2.5 particles is measured.A sheet of quartz-fibre membrane filter for weighing collects the particles. Thus, the relationship between the pulse number and the particles mass is established. The results show the standard deviation and uncertainty of measurement are less than 2%and ±6%respectively,with the parallelism of 99.2%.The great agreement of measurements reveals the real-time measurement of PM2.5 mass concentration can be realized by light scattering method, which has been traced to the weight standard.
