CHARACTERISTIC STUDY OF INNERAND OUTER PIPE DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE FLOWMETER

　　In order to improve the measurement accuracy,stability and energy saving of inner and outer pipe differential pressure flowmeter,the CFD simulation software is used to analysis the flow field of the flowmeter.It is found that whenthe fluid flows got through the flowmeter reversely,the differential pressure was larger than it flowed forwardly.Meanwhile,the pressure loss ratio was smaller.The structure of the flowmeter was optimized by the differential pressure of the flowmeter which was increased by 35.92%and the pressure loss ratio was reduced by 11.52%.Three DN24 reverse-flowed inner and outer pipe differential pressure flowmeterswere processed and tested for water flow.The result shows that the flow rate relative errors of these three flowmeters are below 0.6%.
