An Innovative Flow Measurement Technique-Spindle Flow Meter
Flow measurement technology is a systematic and verifiable technology that is and must be traceable.In industrial practice,the performance of the flow meter is dependent not only on the flow meter itself but also on installation effects.How to eliminate the difference between the calibration conditions and the actual application conditions,which refers to similarity problem and has an impact on the performance for most flow meters(except positive-displacement flow meter),is a great challenge.The Spindle Flow Meter,an innovative design based on flow control technology,is described.All similarity criteria,including dynamic similarity,kinematic similarity,geometric similarity,similarity of boundary conditions and initial conditions,are considered.
